Invest in a childs future

Blessings all,

I was on Facebook earlier and a young lady said that I’ve always treated her well and always had something encouraging and uplifting to say to her, I told her that was the Jesus in my and the genuine love that I have for her. It feels good for a child to say that about you, because many of them don’t trust us today and want open up and let you in. But as God states in Jeremiah 31:3, The Lord has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with loving kindness have I drawn thee.

Not many adults do this for our youth, we’re so busy stereotyping them and forgetting that we ourselves were children and that were once lost along the way and if it had not been for the prayers of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, teachers, friends, cousins, sister and brothers and the community at large in our lives where  would we be today?

As Whitney Houston sings, I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they possess in side, give them a sense of pride to make it easier, let the children’s laughter reminds us of how we use to be.

It doesn’t matter how many times they have fallen if God tells you to assist them, then do so, don’t let pride or bitterness get in the way because they are not doing what you want them to do. You didn’t do what your parents told you to do either. God is such a lover of people and we should follow His example.

Invest in our children today, be a big sister or brother, mentor someone. Pray for youth all over the world. Mark the children in your family for the kingdom of God. Pray blessings over them, prophesy over their lives. Speak life speak life speak life. Never ever speak negativity to a child. Positive speaking brings blessings and results.

Forever His Servant

  1. I agree it is our responsibility to help guide the youth because it can become a lonely dark journey for some. Just because they a mom and/or a dad, some are still missing out on having parents in their lives.
