Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la, la la la la, that may be true for some of us and most of us are in a festive mood and feeling the Christmas spirit, but there are some of us who are dreading this Holiday, perhaps its the memories of loved ones that are not here to share the holiday, perhaps you’re divorced and not looking forward to being alone, perhaps you’re being faced with court proceedings, perhaps you’ve a loved one incarcerated, perhaps you’ve caught your spouse cheating, perhaps you’ve received some bad news, perhaps you just want to be alone, perhaps you were laid off, perhaps someone stole your life savings, perhaps you’re silently hurting, perhaps you’re have an addiction, perhaps you’re a teenager who is pregnant, perhaps you’ve been abandoned, perhaps you’re being abused, perhaps you’re feeling unloved, perhaps you’ve been skipped over for a promotion, perhaps you’ve been accused of something, perhaps people are talking about you, perhaps you’re being picked on, perhaps you feel like the odd man or woman out, perhaps you’re receiving no affection from your spouse, perhaps you’ve been ostracized, perhaps you’ve been kicked out of college, perhaps you’re without transportation, perhaps you’re in the hospital, perhaps you’ve been given a death sentence, perhaps you’re being stalked, perhapys you’re being threatened, perhaps you have no food, perhaps your power has been turned off, perhaps you’re going through an illness, perhaps your family is feuding, perhaps you’re in foreclosure, perhaps you’re depressed, perhaps you’re going through some mental challenges, perhaps you’re homeless, perhaps you’re in financial ruins or perhaps you’ve had a love one to die and the tragedy itself has taken the spark from you and has drained you until you feel limp as a dustrag. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
Perhaps means – maybe or possibly.
Matthew 19:26 (NIV), Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
What are you doing to change your situation? Are you totally dependant upon God? Are you looking to Him to bring you out of your perhaps, maybe or possibly situation?
See the key words in this particular passage is Jesus looked, when Jesus looks at a situation He’s truly concerned about it and is going to rectify your dilemma. Jesus lets you know with man its impossible, see everything you maybe going through has been done or set up by man, but God is getting ready to release a Supernatural miracle in your lives with the possible which is HIM.
I challenge you to give Jesus your perhaps and watch your impossible become possible.
Forever His Servant
