I pray everyone enjoyed Jesus’s birthday. Yesterday was also time to enjoy family, my brother-in-law (Jimmie) hosted the Christmas festivities & invited everyone into their home and it was well appreciated and needed.
I saw family that I hadn’t seen in years and it was so good to spend time and break bread together, we caught up on what everyone was up to, updated addresses and phone numbers with the promise of keeping in touch and getting together soon, the air was filled with talking, laughing, hugging, kissing and love. My new-born grandsons were the center of attention, they are the best babies. The children were playing in the bounce house (thanks to Elder Wendell Martin) they were having themselves a merry little Christmas. My sister in-laws and brother in-laws were in the kitchen, seasoning the turkeys to fry and cooking last-minute recipes. Seeing them all together was priceless.
Family is very important and we need to do what we need to do for each other, we are starting a soul food dinner tradition, going to each other homes once a month and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. We purpose to win as many souls as possible.
My mother in law (Bernice) just celebrated her 74th birthday and we want to make sure that she spends her golden years being with as much family as she can, we took many pictures and we have many memories embedded in our minds and hearts.
Lord I give you praise and glory for allowing us time to spend with YOU and with our love ones, we all know the reason for the season was YOU and without YOU there would be no us.
Forever Your Servant,
