Blabbermouth or Confidant?

Blessings all,

I just have to let you all in the ministry and all that profess to be friends know that you must be a confidant, if and when anyone confides in you, it is not for us to spread their business and this is not time for juicy gossip (if you are a Christian juice gossip should no longer be apart of you), when people confide in you they may be at the end of the road in their lives, they make can’t take it anymore and could be contemplating to do something to harm themselves and when you spread their business, this could take it over the top then the blood of their choice is on your hands!!

The bible states in Proverbs 11:9, 12&14, An hypocrite with his or her mouth destroyeth his or her neighbor, but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. A talebearer revealeth secrets, but he or she that is of a faithful spirit concealeath the matter. Where no counsel (guidance) is, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

So what do you do when someone shares something intimate and personal? You should pray and be guided by the Holy Ghost (our spiritual counselor) pray for the persons situation and make the choice to be the best friend and confidant for your friend or neighbor. God and people are looking for someone to trust.  Counseling is a serious matter, what someone tells you behind closed doors should stay there.

Once you are labeled a gossip (talebearer) people will no longer trust you, all of your credibility is gone. Think twice before you repeat anything that is said to you in secrecy, If not you are headed for a danger zone and will be judge by an angry God. God is not pleased with blabber mouths. Stop trying to justify why you told someone business you just talk too much, tell the truth and shame the devil.

Forever His Servant
