Why are people afraid to speak up????

Blessings all,

I am tired of people saying, I was going to say something but, but what? If something is not right then why don’t you say something? I know we are to be led by the Holy Ghost in all that we do, but would the Holy Ghost not say something if it’s wrong? What are we afraid of? Does man or woman have a heaven or hell to put you in?  So why don’t we Christians not speak up when we see something wrong? Why do we want to play it safe and act as though we don’t see the wrong going on? Is it acceptance in a group of people that you’re looking for? Why do we say I’m not going to touch that subject or I’m going to leave that alone because it doesn’t concern me.

Honey Chile please I am going to cry loud and spare not but it won’t be because some one whispered in my ear, it will be because it’s the right thing to do.

This is what John the Baptist did in the case of King Herod (Mark 6:14-26), King Herod was having an affair with his brother’s wife Herodias and John knew about it and said it was not lawful for them to be having an affair,  the King feared and respected John he knew he was a prophet of God and had powers so he had him bound and jailed to shut him up. Later on the King was having a birthday party and invited all of his friends and his adulterous girlfriend Herodias and her daughter, as Herodias daughter was dancing it pleased the King so much that he told her he would give her anything she wanted, he even says he would give her up to half of his kingdom, what kind of dancing did she do to make him say such a thing? Was he drunk or aroused by this dancing? I don’t know but I do know that these two women had his eye and this made him weak to them, Herodias whispered in her daughters ear (be careful of a bitter woman full of hatred who whispers in your ear), ask for the head of John the Baptist on a charger. Herodias was truly wicked she wanted John the Baptist head, how evil, how morbid, how demented, how cunning, how bitter, When bitterness and hatred sets up in the hearts of a woman be careful. Herod realized he had spoken foolishly but he couldn’t take back what he had said, so the King sent for the executioner and the executioner beheaded John the Baptist, brought his head back on a charger, handed it to the daughter and the daughter handed it to her mother Herodias. Herodias had schemed to have the head of John the Baptist to shut him up, she had a grudge against him she didn’t want her husband to find out about the affair she was having with his brother, she was selfish and all about herself she didn’t care that she had to used her daughter to set the plan in action and carry it out. See she thought her hands were cleaned, but the bible clearly states in Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God can not be mocked. A man (woman) so what he (she) reaps. In other words what goes around comes around.

Remember the story of Samson & Delilah? Delilah had Samson head in her lap and asked him three times where did his strength lie, each time Samson told her she called for the Philistines to come and bind him, two times Samson shook them off but the third time, Samson was bound and put in prison and Delilah watched while they gouged his eyes out. Be careful of a bitter woman full of hatred whispering in your ear!.

For John speaking out, he was beheaded, his reward was he went to heaven. Many of us are going to be spiritually beheaded but we must do the right thing. You know the bible goes on to say that when Jesus came preaching Herod thought he was John the Baptist raised from the dead, see Herod was tormented by what he had done.

Be careful of a bitter woman full of hatred, whispering in your ear she may be doing something to set you up!
