Topsy Turvy!

Blessings all,

I am going to be posting somethings God gave me in 2011 that has never been on my blog. Sometimes things have to be repeated and reposted.

Do you feel like your life is topsy-turvy?  Remember there is someone worse off than you. You don’t believe me? What about the people in Haiti? Its been two years that an earthquake claimed many lives and they still haven’t recovered? What about Barbara Pill the Police officer killed last week in the line of duty, what about the pain and suffering her husband and children are feeling? Officer Barbara Pill will not see her new grandchild enter kindergarten, elementary, middle or high school, college or the armed forces or know what career her grandchild would have pursued. what about Robert Champion the young man who died in a hazing incident, earlier in the day he had given a great performance at the Orlando Citrus Bowl Classics with his FAMU band members, his parents are suffering, have yet to see any arrest and are seeking answers from local authorities. What about 17-year-old Trayvon Martin that was shot and killed, while on vacation, they know who killed him, but no arrest have been made, did you see the pain and tears on his mothers face?  What about Bobbi Christina, her mother  Whitney Houston died unexpectedly on February 11, Bobbi Christina has just turned 19 and she is motherless, grieving and in so much pain, I saw her on Oprah’s Next Chapter, Bobbi Kristina said she is making it with the help of God. What about Congress Woman Gabrielle Gifford, she was shot in her head and is now going through many surgeries and therapy? What about the victims and families of the Arizona massacre, the floods in Brazil and Australia, there is hunger, homelessness, foreclosures, abuse and devastation is all around us but we must remember to pray, praise, worship and give God thanks in everything, God is so awesome and is working things out as we speak.

Now do you still think your life is topsy-turvy?

Psalms 48: 1 & 2 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised In the city of our God, In His holy mountain. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

Forever His Servant,

Robin A. Curry

  1. Great post! I just finished reading the book Psalms and was blown away how many times it said to praise the Lord because of His steadfast love. It was almost in every chapter! Totally encouraging! 🙂
