Have your prayers become quick like a microwave?

Blessings all,

Even when you don’t feel like it you need to pray, even when you don’t feel like it you need to intercede, even when you don’t feel like it you need to fast, even when you don’t feel like it you need to lay hands on someone, even when you don’t feel like it you need to lay prostrate before the Lord, even when you don’t feel like it you need to give God your all in all, even when you don’t feel like it you need to read your word, even when you don’t feel like it you need to worship the true and living God even when you don’t feel like it you should never give up. People of God some bodies life depends on your prayers. Stop seeking answers from man or woman when God has all the answers,  faith filled prayers bring results. we miss out on being blessed because we won’t sit still for God’s answer, we have become a microwave generation, wanting and doing things so quickly.

In biblical days people waited on the Lord or the man of God to speak, it didn’t matter how long it was they waited, yes some people grew weary but there is no rest for the weary there is rest only for the obedient. Now we praise God in our sanctuaries quickly, we put time limits on the Holy Ghost (have we lost our minds??), I remember a time we didn’t leave church until we heard from God, we would have tarry service (waiting on God), we had shut ins and we didn’t bring pillows and blankets we called on God all night and morning long, we waited patiently until someone heard just one word!  Now we watch the clock, when the Holy Ghost enters we cut HIM off instead of allowing HIM to rest rule and abide. we also quench and grieve the Holy Ghost, we have productions now instead of praise and worship, we’ve quit laying hands on the sick, we’ve stopped laying on the altar and doing altar calls,we’ve stopped testifying services, we’ve stopped fasting before we make major decisions, we’ve stopped singing hymns.

God said He changeth not, so why have we changed? Luke 2:36-37, Anna prayed & fasted in the temple day and night, she persevered, she was steadfast, she had purpose, faith, she didn’t give up, she held fast, she kept the vision, she was humble, patient and most of all she believed in God. when she received the vision about baby Jesus she continued to pray until her vision came to pass, Anna didn’t murmur or complain she stayed in the temple and prayed. Hannah prayed day and night when she wanted a baby, regardless of what the people said she was adamant about her prayers to God, Jesus went to Gethsemane to pray and when He came down from prayer the two Jesus brought with HIM were asleep, HE asked Peter you couldn’t even watch me for one hour? See that’s what I’m talking about not being able to pray at no time or another or watching for someone. How do you not watch out for Jesus????

Prayer is serious business, prayer moves the hands of God, God loves talking to us and we should love talking to HIM, God answers the prayers of the effectual, feverent and righteous. Let’s top being a microwave generation and learn to pray earnestly and effectively.

Forever His Servant,
